Incan Ruins

Guillermo and I stayed in a small town in Quebrada del Toro, basically a valley, during our rural homestay. The town's economy was based on tourism, partially due to the Incan ruins nearby. Similar to Machu Picchu but a different flavor, it used to be a town of 2000 people. Instead of walking all the way down, we jumped in the back of a pickup truck for a fun ride. In the pictures are my host mom, Elsa, and her neice Gabriela.
