After the farewell dinner, a few of us went out to a bar in Palermo with Agustina, the lovely office assistant at CEDES. We were having a good time, relaxing, laughing, and out of the restaurant across the street walks RICARDO FORT!!!
Some background: Ricardo Fort is the Argentinian Paris Hilton. His grandfather started Felfort chocolates, which makes my favorite candy, chocolate marroc. Ricardo Fort is only famous for his money and is currently a contestant on Showmatch, the Argentine equivalent of Dancing with the Stars. His persona is horribly machista, too muscular (with fake muscles painted on), and overall an idiot. But he has fascinated me! I wasn't able to take a good picture of more than his car (my camera is slow), but here is a picture of him I pulled from the web!
Jamila and I have joked about what we would say if we met him, but in that moment of chao, lots of people were snapping pictures as he and his entourage zoomed off in a BMW!
